Jennifer is the lead instructor and program director for our Cardio Kickboxing program. Jennifer (Jenny) has trained for 5 years in Chinese Kempo, a blended discipline incorporating traditional and modern aspects of tae kwon do, kung fu, and aikido into technique and application for street defense.
In 2004, Jennifer received her First Degree Black Belt in the Korean art of Tang Soo Do. She continued to train and teach in this art for two years until the school she was training at closed down.
Jennifer began training in the combative art of Nagasu Ryu Jujitsu (Japanese Jujitsu) with Sensei Damien Wright, Owner and Head Instructor of Wright Fight Concepts in November of 2008. She achieved her Shodan (first degree black belt) in Nagasu Ryu Jujitsu on August 16th, 2014.
In addition to teaching, Jennifer continues her rigorous study in the core curriculum of Nagasu Ryu Jujitsu at the black belt level as well as Muay Thai Kickboxing under Coach Jeff Cressman, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu through our affiliation with Coach Chris Ulbricht, and Escrima and Jeet Kune Do under instructor T.J. Miller of Action Reality Martial Arts. Jennifer trains in something every day and enjoys inspiring others with a similar dedication.
